We will create a quick clone, and a fast but detailed hand sketch on separate layers. We will clone basic color for the flowers foliage and pot on separate layers but will add additional color and background color by from imagination. Backgrounds will not be cloned. We will develop an expressive painting using several brushes and expressive brush strokes. You will do this consistent with your vision and style.
We will focus on familiarization of several brushes which provide different brush marks, styles and functions to Watercolor paintings. You will begin to learn basic Watercolor commands, i.e., dropping layers, raising canvas layer to Watercolor layers, drying layers, pausing diffusion. We will learn to make selections in Watercolor to determine and control the area in which we paint. Texture will be expressed through brush and paper combinations.
